Day 243 (November 25, 2010) – Happy 1st Thanksgiving, Annaliese!

Today was Annaliese’s first Thanksgiving and she didn’t feel very good. As I had said yesterday she was a little hoarse and therefore made her feel more under the weather today. We went to Aunt Cathy’s for lunch and Aunt Loretta’s for dinner. Annaliese ate pureed Butternut Squash and Sweet Potatoes for Thanksgiving dinner. We tried mashed potatoes too but she wasn’t real fond of them. I don’t know if it was the consistency, as she might have a sore throat, or the taste (because they didn’t have any butter or salt and pepper on them) but we will try again tomorrow. Annaliese did find enough energy to climb a real set of stairs at Aunt Loretta’s for the first time. Aunt Linda and Troy helped her along the way!

Annaliese posed for a picture with Aunt Cathy’s turkey since it looked just like the one’s on her dress. Then Mom-Mom held her for a while as she napped! She also got the cute turkey bow from Grammy.

She also had enough energy to check out the sale adds, which is a tradition of ours after we eat dinner. She was trying to tell me about all of the good sales I should check out for Black Friday!

When we got home and were putting PJ's on Quila got in the crib!
