I was given a wonderful shower by Lynn, Aunt Teresa, and Baba. The weather was beautiful and we had some of Eric’s wonderful family and friends there. We started out by eating the delicious food that was prepared. Next we played a few games including a word search and a Nursery Rhymes Riddles game. It was fun trying to remember all of the phrases from Nursery Rhymes you had learned as a child. The next game was a baby word scramble. The last game was a guessing game with the number of M&M’s in the bottle. After the games we had a delicious cake that was made from a bakery in Great Bridge. I opened presents and was very blessed to have received such wonderful things. One of the big items was our awesome high chair that is wood to match the color of our table and chairs! Baba also made Baby Thames a baby block rattle that has, “I Love You” on it. Aunt Loretta and Amber gave Baby Thames Redskin bibs. Remember the rule that Eric and I made was that if Baby Thames was a girl she could be a Redskin fan and if Baby Thames is a boy he would be an Eagles fan. We shall see soon! Mrs. Thames and Aunt Teresa had made little footprint cookies as favors for all of the guests. They turned out really cute. My cousin Amber got another practice round with the camera and video camera. Mrs. Thames took my “Baby Bump” shot of the month. I was also able to have everyone sign my Baby Shower plate that I am taking around to each of my showers. We really enjoyed ourselves at the shower. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to share good times with Eric’s side of the family.
