Annaliese found her voice over night. When I heard her this morning through the monitor she was just a cooing away. She “talked” the longest I had ever heard her this morning. It was the sweetest thing and I’m just so glad I didn’t miss hearing it. The night before I had been thinking a lot about teaching (since it is the week before school) and had been a little sad that I wouldn’t be returning. BUT when I woke up this morning to that happy baby with the sweet, little voice I just knew I was in the right place at the right time.
We went to family night tonight at Aunt Loretta's. She also tried on Aunt Loretta's wig that she is going to wear for an upcoming party. Then Annaliese came home and slept 9 straight hours! Yay!
