Today Annaliese, Baba, Grammy, Mom-Mom, and I went to the Lotus Luncheon. The Lotus Luncheon is a luncheon that is held at Mom-Mom’s (and used to be Baba’s) church every July when the lotus flowers are in bloom. We took Annaliese for her first trip to Tabernacle Church in Sandbridge. This church has sentimental value to Mommy and Daddy because it was the official place where we first met. You see my grandparents and Eric’s grandparents both took us to church there with them almost every weekend when we were little. Even though Eric and I didn’t really know each other back then our families did and who would have thought we would have connected later in life. Our grandparents were friends and so I guess we were supposed to be friends too. We were truly destined to be together!
