Today Eric and I took Annaliese to the Doctor at 10:00 for her 1 week check up. We are so grateful that Eric is off from work for another week to be home with us. She did great at the doctor and weight in at 5 lb. 8 oz. exactly what I weighed when I was born and was 18 ¾ in. We were so excited that she had exceeded her birth weight. Now I could begin feeding her every 3-4 hours and since she had exceeded her weight we did not have to return for a 2 week appointment! Of course I had written down a list of questions to ask the doctor all of which she answered so nicely and patiently. At the end of our session the nurse let us stay in the room to nurse her before we left. We love the doctor’s office we picked!
After her appointment Annaliese’s great grandmother came over to visit. My Aunt Pat and Uncle Ray were here visiting from Florida so they came over to meet Annaliese. How wonderful is it that Annaliese has the opportunity to spend time with her Great Grandmother and Great, Great Aunt!
